About Us

We are a group of collaborative researchers, gathered around our shared interests in Ethics, Technology, and Change in Healthcare Work.

Founded in 2023 with the support of TIER@UHN and AMS, our core members draw from the academic and practice-based disciplines of: ethics, implementation science, organizational studies, and sociology.

Through ETCHwork, we create a space to share ideas, connect our various networks, generate new questions, create opportunities for students and new scholars, and produce meaningful impact. Our research has implications for policy, change leadership, and professional education.

Together, we aim to develop research practices and insights, building social science that matters.

Knowledge mobilization

Our vision is to continue to nurture ETCHwork as space to incubate new ideas, amplify the good work already being done in our networks, and provide opportunities for continued connection across our disciplinary and institutional boundaries.
